NYC Speeding Ticket Lawyer
In 2022 Speeding tickets were the most frequently issued traffic ticket in New York City, approximately 114,000 were issued across the 5 boroughs. Approximately 379,000 speeding tickets were issued in the Upstate regions of New York and 47,000 speeding tickets were issued in the Long Island region of New York. Based on preliminary findings the number of speeding tickets issued in 2023 will only keep on rising.
As of November 7, 2014, the speed limit on all New York City streets is 25 MPH unless otherwise posted. It is always recommended to drive at or below the speed limit. Driving with the flow of traffic is unfortunately not an excuse to drive over the speed limit. If everyone around you is speeding but you are the unlucky one to be stopped you will have to deal with the consequences.
