Bike Lane Rush Hour
Biking has become part of New Yorkers day to day routine. The bike culture is growing at a rapid pace in New York City, for example the daily bike trip on the Brooklyn Bridge has increased from 170,000 in 2005 to 450,000 riders currently. Under Vision Zero, the city is trying to accommodate the bikers by creating protected bike lanes. With the city adjusting to to bikers, bikers should expect heavy enforcement monitoring them. Although these types of ticket carry no points, fines can add up for the cyclists.
