Insufficient Turn Signal, 2 points!

Insufficient Turn Signal, 2 points!

Insufficient turn signal is a ticket that police officers give out that carries 2 points and a fine.  The ticket is issued when a driver fails to signal that they are about to make a turn for a proper amount of time.  It is important to give other drivers time to understand what you intend to do and react to your behavior.

How long do you leave your signal on before making a turn?  Do you do it every time?  How would you suggest other drivers more effectively communicate their intentions on the roads?  Let us know in the comments below.
