Long Island Village Changes Three Streets to One Way

Freeport Village on Long Island has announced that three streets have been changed to one way only in order to relieve traffic congestion. The changes are as follows:

• South Ocean Avenue between Richmond Street and Front Street – only northbound traffic.
• Nassau Avenue between Suffolk Street and Front Street – only northbound traffic.
• Miller Avenue between Richmond Street and Front Street – only southbound traffic.

Please drive carefully as these changes take effect today. Also keep in mind that a Long Island traffic ticket for driving in the wrong direction carries a penalty of 3 points. If you receive any traffic tickets, please call our office at 212-227-9008.
