Watch Out For Pavement Markings!

New York City has a variety of traffic lanes that are for specific vehicles such as bicycles or buses.  These lanes are intended to ensure that traffic flows properly and commuters are safe.  If you are driving in the wrong lane you may be issued a Disobey Traffic Device Pavement Markings ticket that is 2 points.  If you are driving in a bus lane a police officer may give you a bus lane ticket which carries 0 points but does have a fine.

When driving in New York make sure you are aware of the lanes available to you so that you can avoid tickets, points and fines.

If you receive a summons for a cell phone, disobey traffic device or any other moving violation, an experienced traffic ticket attorney can help. Please call us at 212-227-9008 or email us at michaelblock.law@gmail.com
